Soweto and Apartheid Museum Tour takes us to the heart of Soweto and also gives us a glimpse of the dark apartheid Museum. We start off the tour at the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg where we will come face to face with the dark past history of Apartheid. We will spend about 2 to 3 hours on these iconic Museum to understand how apartheid history was introduced and the experiences of most of the people who resisted it. There is also a section of Nelson Mandela which depicts the resistance during those dark days until when Apartheid ended.
We will then head to Soweto township to come face to face with the South West famous for the resistance it offered during those apartheid days. From Hector Pieterson Memorial Museum famous for the 1976 youth Uprising to Mandela House Museum which was the Icon residence before going to prison. We also walk on the street of the famous Vilakazi Street and have African Lunch at the famous Sakhumzi restaurant.
Later we will drive through the streets of Soweto and head to Orlando towers for some photos opportunities before and also Regina Mudi Church for some inspiration history on how the Church Apartheid Struggle.
